PALFINGER delivers launch and recovery systems for tender boats in various sizes.
PALFINGER's launch and recovery system consists of two parallel lifting beams equipped with a winch mounted onto a travelling wagon. The travelling structure is driven on rollers from parked to fully extracted position. The wagon allows to hoist or lower the hook for deploying the boats to and from the hangar. The wagons move on rollers positioned inside the travelling structure and are driven by hydraulic cylinders.
The launch and recovery system also includes hydraulic operated storage cradles for the tender boats. These cradles are tailored to fit the tender boats and in lowered position, the cradles are almost flushed with deck.
Launch and recovery systems are not designed to operate as personnel lifts.
