Join PALFINGER in Huntley, IL as a Parts Customer Service Representative, where you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers get the parts they need quickly and accurately. You'll work alongside a dedicated team and report to the Regional Spare Parts Manager in a role where reliability and top-tier service truly matter.
Your Responsibilties
- Support customers by phone, email, or in person—answering questions about parts, pricing, availability, and suitable alternatives.
- Accurately enter and verify customer orders, ensuring all necessary details are captured and communicated.
- Keep dealers informed on order status, shipping updates, and proactively expedite back-ordered items.
- Provide guidance on spare parts processes, return policies, and share diagrams or photos when needed for clarity.
- Collaborate with service teams and vendors while staying up to date on PALFINGER’s warranty and payment policies.
Your Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in spare parts sales within an industrial or dealer service environment.
- A high school diploma (technical certification or customer service training is a plus).
- Solid understanding of dealer-level parts and service operations, with a hands-on, customer-first mindset.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to confidently guide customers through technical questions and solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint to support daily operations and communication.
