As Global Customer Service Director at our location in Bergheim, you lead and coordinate Site Service Managers worldwide, ensuring consistent service standards, claim handling, and market communication. You oversee global warranty analysis and remanufacturing centers, support sustainable failure analysis, and collaborate with Global Training to uphold high-quality customer service throughout the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all global Site Service Managers, ensuring consistent claim handling, service execution, and compliance with global guidelines
- Oversee global claim analysis, quality reporting, and KPI development to support continuous improvement in production and service
- Manage global warranty analysis and remanufacturing centers to ensure high-quality, sustainable part handling and failure analysis
- Ensure standardized, high-quality Customer Service documentation and market communication, including final approval of service bulletins and recalls
- Collaborate with Global Training and product development teams to align service deliverables, tools, and training throughout the product lifecycle
Your qualifications
- Completed technical education such as Mechanical High School or similar qualification
- Proven track record and many years of experience in a senior customer service management role
- Senior knowledge about PALFINGER products, preferably over several product lines, is a big advantage
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent German and English skills, other languages are plus

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 65.432,36 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
