PALFINGER Marine Norway Offshore Cranes, Winches, Handling and Access Equipment group will strengthen up the engineering team with a electrical engineer for electrical department. The team now consists of electrical engineers in Bergen and Gdansk performing work in projects, developing new equipment and supporting production and testing. Position is placed in Gdynia and reports to electro department Team Lead. Work includes both new designs and upgrades of advanced offshore cranes  and access equipment. Typical tasks are designing electrical drawings in Eplan P8, dimensioning electrical components and cables and preparing documentation. Systems are in many cases complex with combinations of hydraulics, variable frequency driven motors and PLCs.

The position is mainly considered for experienced engineers ready to contribute, but junior candidates with the correct background, drive and ability to learn quickly are encouraged to apply and may be considered for junior positions.
