Palfinger is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join the operations team for our Oklahoma City manufacturing facility. The Facilities Manager oversees daily operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of building facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. This role manages space planning, construction projects, and facility modifications, while supervising a maintenance technician and janitorial crews. The Facilities Manager develops and monitors operational KPIs, manages budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and implements preventive maintenance programs. Strong leadership, budgeting, and project management skills are essential for success in this role

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all facility-related services, including maintenance, modifications, repairs, janitorial services, and security.
  • Oversee space allocation, layout, and facility expansion, while managing relationships and contracts with external vendors and service providers.
  • Develop and manage facilities budgets, including cost estimates for maintenance, upgrades, relocations, and repairs, and maintain documentation for purchasing and contracts.
  • Supervise staff and contracting crews, including hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and oversight of janitors, parking attendants, and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance and operational efficiency, by maintaining KPIs dashboards, inspecting facilities, managing preventive maintenance programs, and following safety and regulatory guidelines.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, 2 of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional maintenance staff.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC preferred.Ability to read and interpret architectural specifications and drawings required. Electrical background with knowledge of industrial electrical safety, troubleshooting, and repair, preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office; basic CAD skills (prefeably AutoCad) preferred
