As a Finance Business Controller, you will have the autonomy to plan your work and develop together with us and the wider group. We are located in both Middelfart (office) and Greve (workshop). The position is in the Middelfart office.

The Job

As Finance Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting our local management and the group by:

Controlling

Act as a sparring partner to local management and support decision-making through active involvement.

Sales controlling (analysis of margins of sales orders and sales & invoicing performance)

Capital employed controlling with focus on capital expenditures (=CAPEX), inventory (stock analysis) and receivables (ageing analysis)

Service controlling (workshop performance, analysis of service order margins)

Monitoring and controlling of order-to-cash und service-to-fulfill processes

Run variance analysis and carry out ad-hoc business case simulations,

Support management during creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports according the IFRS standards.

Support management to conduct budgeting and rolling forecasting

Together with the local Finance Manager, be in charge of the monthly salary run

Be backup for the local Finance Manager, in holiday periods.

Finance/ERP System Key-User

Together with the local Finance Manager, continually develop the local finance/ERP systems and controlling tools. We use SAP S4 Hana as our ERP system. Reporting is done via BI reports and in Group consolidation system – EIS.

After sales and Inventory processes

Reviewing, documenting and improving processes in after sales (claims and warranty processes)

Reviewing, documenting and improving processes for the inventory, together with the Inventory manager.

Your Profile

Academic degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience.
Strong technical skills in business-related IT systems and advanced proficiency in both English and Danish, written and spoken.
You are detail-oriented, analytical, and able to interpret financial data to create high-quality decision support for management.
You thrive in a dynamic environment, are self-driven, meticulous, and able to handle stress.
As part of a small local team within the PALFINGER AG group, you are flexible, collaborative, and unpretentious.

We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about numbers and can see the story behind them. You will be responsible for delivering a range of reports to our parent company each month and for transforming financial information into valuable insights for management.
