PALFINGER is seeking a strong forklift candidate familiar with working in a plant environment to join the team and work out of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, IA. The Forklift Driver is a specialized operator that will load truck body crane and lift gate parts into the Ecoat paint system via a specialized carrier. This role reports to the Production Paint Line supervisor offering a completive compensation package and opportunity for on-going career growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely load PALFINGER products into our Ecoat system using a specialized Combilift carrier.
• Perform light maintenance on the Combilift to keep things running smoothly.
• Work comfortably in a dynamic environment that can be hot or cold, depending on the season.

• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to ensure smooth plant operations.

Your Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1-year forklift experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Must be able to periodically lift 10-100 pounds and can operate hoist equipment for heavy lifting.
Ability to work a full shift in a hot and/or cold industrial manufacturing environment.
Stand, Walk, Climb, Balance, Kneel, Crouch, Crawl and sit.
Use of hands/fingers to feel or handle equipment/tools.
Pushing or pulling of various weights.
