
Master Data Specialist

Reporting to Engineering Manager, the Master Data Specialist is responsible for all aspects of ERP master data. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implementation of new and updated liftgate product release to manufacturing; auditing new and old data to today’s company standards; item master; bill of materials structures; configurations; work ticket structures; and standard cost. Works closely with design engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure accuracy and manufacturability of the products. The Master Data Specialist is the principal change control agent between departments auditing the design release process.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support ERP engineering system changes to help the evolution of the product and manufacturing process. (system process). Entering new and modifying item master, bill of material, and configuration structure data.
- Master data support the various aspects of the engineering, design, planning, and development.
- New setup, maintenance, and evolution of Sales configurator.
- Principal change agent auditing Engineering Change Notices into manufacturing.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in a related technical or engineering field.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial or process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, Sage, TCM, and Oracle, with proven ability to manage and maintain complex master data structures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on understanding of components and assemblies; skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate and consistent master data entry in ERP/PLM systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong skills with documentation, and reporting.
