A QM Engineer (f/m/d) is responsible for the software quality process and the selection of tools and methods to improve the quality of PALFINGER’s Business Applications, providing continuous value for its users. Quality improvement is achieved in close collaboration with the development team, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts, supporting the entire development process, from requirement creation to Go-Live, through consulting or joint implementation. Sustainable quality is ensured through mature code quality by developers, thorough initial testing of new functionalities, and stable test automation for existing functionalities, with quality being the focus throughout the entire development process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and manage the software quality process for PALFINGER Business Applications, including test methodologies and tools
  • Support the setup and management of test cases, test data, and test automation
  • Ensure early integration of quality aspects within the development process
  • Drive continuous improvement of software quality standards and practices
  • Collaborate closely with the QA community and project management to align on quality objectives

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical education in IT or Software Development with high quality awareness
  • Experience in testing business applications (e.g. SAP) and handling/executing test cases
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Tosca)
  • Knowledge of software test management and programming/development is an advantage
  • German and English skills

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
