Service Engineer, PAJ Marine (f/m/d)

The Service Engineer supports inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting based on vessel schedules and works closely with customers to ensure safe, efficient service while strengthening technical collaboration across Japan and APAC.
Your Tasks
- Participate in LSA projects and collaborate closely with the local service partner to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate with agents, superintendents, and service coordinators to attend service assignments promptly upon mobilization.
- Prepare all necessary materials, tools, and spare parts, and align with the superintendent on a preliminary work plan before commencing any job.
- Perform service and commissioning tasks in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring efficiency and quality in every assignment.
- Communicate effectively with the service coordinator, sales manager, and superintendent to report and resolve any defects identified during service execution.
- Provide accurate on-site measurements to support the spare parts team in identifying correct specifications when needed, and prepare all required service reports, checklists, and certificates accurately.
- Support Wind Crane and other marine product-line service activities in Japan, contributing to improved technical response time, customer satisfaction, and APAC-wide communication.
- Lead the development of a local marine technical team in Japan, enhance PM brand awareness, and maintain effective management and control of service operations to grow the local market share
Your Qualification
- Must Have a good knowledge of marine , offshore , maritime industry and LSA service/commissioning
- Must Have a good understanding of SOLAS requirements and industrial regulation
- Skills in troubleshooting of electric and hydrolic system is necessary
- Must Good at technical explanation to customer in English and Japanese for complicated technical problem
- Willing to travel frequently
- Willing to work in overtime and weekend, public holiday
- Good knowledge in office software(word, excel and powerpoint
