The Service Manager will be responsible for the planning, management and organization of the Service area in Portugal. Reporting to the Network Development Manager, he/she will be responsible for achieving the objective of making the Service area in Portugal a reference in the sector, providing the best customer and employee experience.

Your responsibilities

Oversee repair planning by allocating materials and personnel efficiently, ensuring close collaboration with technical and administrative teams
Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and ensure maximum return on investments
Develop and implement technical and commercial strategies, lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and ensure high service quality and business growth
Supervise technicians, monitor performance, organize training programs, and implement continuous improvements based on KPIs and workshop efficiency
Manage service contracts and material procurement, maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and report on service activities to support informed decision-making

Your qualifications

5+ years in machinery/service sectors (e.g., automotive, truck, industrial); rental company workshop experience is a plus
Proven experience working directly with end customers in service-related roles
Skilled in coordinating workshop/service teams with a hands-on management approach
Industrial engineering education or similar technical training
Fluent in Portuguese, good English, strong leadership, communication, analytical and teamwork skills
