Palfinger Inc., a global leader in truck-mounted knuckle boom cranes, is seeking a dedicated Shipper to join our Niagara Falls manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our products are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations.
Your Responsibilities
- Accurately stage, count, and package finished goods and spare parts according to company standards and customer orders.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products and load trucks.
- Review shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and labels, ensuring accuracy.
- Perform final inspections on outgoing shipments to verify product quality and order correctness.
- Assist with inventory management and coordinate with production and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment.
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma (OSSGD) or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Forklift certification and proven experience operating material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with quality standards, lean manufacturing practices, and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
