PALFINGER Marine Norway Offshore Cranes, Winches, Handling and Access Equipment group will strengthen up the engineering team with a team leader for electrical dept. The team now consists of electrical engineers in Bergen and Gdansk performing work in projects, developing new equipment and supporting production and testing. Position is placed in the Nesttun office close to Bergen, Norway or Gdynia, Poland  and Team Leader reports to Technical Department Manager. The Team Leader has the responsibility of the personnel in the Electrical dept and guide them in their designs and daily work. Team leader is also responsible for the technical solutions on the electrical side and needs to cooperate closely to product owners, mechanical, hydraulic and software departments. Work includes both new designs and upgrades of advanced marine and access equipment. Typical tasks are designing electrical drawings in Eplan P8, dimensioning electrical components and cables and preparing documentation. Systems are in many cases complex with combinations of hydraulics, variable frequency driven motors and PLCs. 

We are looking for a motivated manager that has a strong technical background within electrical systems, with ability to manage a department of skilled engineers.
