Join PALFINGER as our Warranty Specialist who supports the North American market by reviewing and processing warranty and short shipment claims across multiple product lines. Reporting to the Regional Warranty Manager and based in our Niagara Falls location, this role partners closely with dealers, distributors, and internal service teams to ensure claims are handled accurately, fairly, and on time. You’ll apply technical judgment, policy knowledge, and strong communication skills to protect both the customer experience and PALFINGER’s standards. Your Responsibilities

  • Review and assess warranty claims to ensure repairs are valid, justified, and compliant with warranty policy
  • Evaluate claim documentation including technician notes, time records, test results, and repair authorizations
  • Determine appropriate claim outcomes (approval, modification, refusal, or return for correction or appeal) using sound judgment
  • Collaborate with internal departments and service partners to resolve technical or administrative claim issues
  • Track warranty trends, manage product advisories and recalls, and oversee short or incomplete shipment resolutions

Your Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems is an asset
  • 3+ years of warranty experience, ideally within an industrial or equipment manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical and policy information
  • Professional, confident communicator able to manage complex or sensitive customer interactions
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and IT systems, along with a motivated, team-oriented mindset
