PALFINGER MARINE awarded deck equipment contracts from VARD Group

PALFINGER MARINE Winches and Offshore Equipment is proud to announce the signing of new contracts with VARD Group for supply of complete winch packages for three Module Carrier Vessels (MCV) being built for the Kazakhstan based shipping company Kazmortransflot (KMTF).

PALFINGER MARINE Winches and Offshore Equipment is proud to announce the signing of new contracts with VARD Group for supply of complete winch packages for three Module Carrier Vessels (MCV) being built for the Kazakhstan based shipping company Kazmortransflot (KMTF). All three vessels will be built at Vard Braila in Romania for delivery in the period between third quarter of 2017 and first quarter of 2018. 

The vessels, of VARD 9 28 design, will be operated by KMTF through a consortium led by Blue Water Shipping. The three MCVs, featuring a length of 113 meters and a width of 22 meters, are designed for transport in the Caspian Sea.

Each vessel will be outfitted with a complete winch package from Palfinger Marine which all of them are electrical, frequency controlled, driven.   

Delivery of the equipment from PALFINGER MARINE is scheduled from February to June 2017.
