Due to the sophisticated crane geometry and compact design, our foldable knuckle boom cranes can be easily accommodated at any vessel type, especially where space is limited. PALFINGER foldable knuckle boom cranes are used for service vessels, workboats or cruise vessels to load and unload provision, cargo, tools, and equipment. For smaller fishing vessels the foldable knuckle boom cranes are a multi-functional lifting device. The big fish farming vessels use these cranes to operate their entire fish farms.

OFFSHORE

For offshore applications, PALFINGER foldable knuckle boom cranes can be used for flexible cargo and equipment handling at oil rigs, FPSO’s or various types of offshore vessels. The optional workman basket enables a safe use as an access basket crane. The foldable knuckle boom cranes can be designed according to offshore rules and regulations as well as customer requests.
